It’s a bit hot in Athens, so I feel like I’m still in Texas. Every hotel is packed with tourists. This place is the go to spot this year for travelers. I took the hop on/off buses to tour the city. I prefer the double decker covered top with open air windows. This allowed ease of photography and a sunscreen with a fresh breeze.

Travel tip. Convert your money to Euros. Book your cab in advance. Bring sunscreen and a hat. Pack patience as you will need it. I’ll share my lodging experience in a separate post later on.

Flying internationally be prepared for deplaning on the runaway, taking your carryon with you down a flight or two of stairs before boarding a bus to file through customs. Stay hydrated while flying as there’s less humidity up in the friendly skies.

Just wanted to give you a glimpse of what I’m seeing over here. I embark on a Norwegian Cruise tomorrow, so I’ll have more tips, suggestions, etc. Comment and ask questions while I’m in Greece.
