Greeting Royal Friends and Viewers,

A royale journey awaits all, even on a budget. Gallivant around the world with me, Duchess DJ Love. My theme is to share love everywhere I go. My travels include visiting all 50 US states and 24 countries abroad with more to come. Join me on my adventures, experience sites through my lens, and hear stories through my southern voice.

Traveling is my passion. My hope is to encourage you along my journey by sharing some love because LOVE is what I am all about.  On my social media platforms, you will find my travel and encouragement digital creations.  When I gallivant from one place to the next, my practice is to go Facebook Live showcasing the area of interest.  My Facebook page, Gallivanting Like a Royal (@DuchessDJtravels), hosts the live events. Duchess DJ Love, Gallivanting Like a Royal is my platform to share love while exploring the world. I am a Frequent Traveler, Free-Lance Travel Blogger, and Author. My background includes a lifetime of traveling local and abroad, 20+ years of wealth management while overseeing millions of dollars in the public and private sectors, travel enthusiast, avid reader, and an amateur photographer. My educational accomplishments include an MBA, Bachelor of Science in Finance with a specialization in Commercial Banking and a minor in Economics, a former licensed Securities Trader, successful completion of the Financial Management Certificate Program with USDA Graduate School, travel connoisseur, and a seeker of wisdom to achieve success.

Since my love of travel began early in life, I enjoyed learning and finding the best ways to see the planet, so I enrolled in the travel agent certification program many, many years ago.  Must say, my travels have taken flight since then. Countries visited include Aruba, Austria, Bahamas, Belgium, Canada, Columbia, Costa Rica, England, France, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Honduras, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, and Bermuda (a British Territory). I have visited every state in the US and continue to do so seeking a fresh perspective. During 2022, I vacayed in South Lake Tahoe CA, Ft. Myers Beach FL, the Great Smoky Mountains in NC on several occasions, Phoenix and Sedona, Arizona, the Big Island of Hawaii, stepped into 11 states, and have already flown around the world in flight miles. Upcoming trips include, Gatlinburg and Nashville TN, Albuquerque NM, Lake Powell and Grand Canyon AZ, and Philadelphia PA to finish out 2022.

I have several books in the works from my Gallivanting Like a Royal book series. Topics include my travel tips, trip bits, wealth inspiration, health benefits, motivational encouragement, gratitude – appreciation appreciates, and my family cookbook. All include Love. My first book, TravelTude, is an introductory guide for the series and available on Amazon.com. You can learn more about me at Amazon Author Central.  Also, I sponsored the TV Show, Power of Pure Presence, which is the essence of traveling.  In addition, I have been invited to speak at the Phenomenal Woman Event in March 2023. Lots of fascinating opportunities are popping up, so please stay tuned in and follow my journey.  While traveling, I have grown to love reading. My goal is to read a book a week. Now imagine how much knowledge I have gained in the past years.  I will share more on my reads later.

I have risen from poverty to royalty. Wow, how a simple dream, vision, and a plan can make a difference in someone’s story.  It happened to me, so it can happen to you too. Sending love your way…  Duchess DJ Love, Gallivanting Like a Royal. It is all about the “love”.

Revelation 5:10 in the Amplified version of the Bible states “You have made them to be a kingdom of royal subjects…and they will reign on the earth.”

You may be wondering why I wear a tiara and call myself a duchess. Others have asked, Am I a relative of the Royal Family? Well that depends. My ancestry does go way, way, way back to England, but I am a royal child of God. Which makes me royalty.  When asked, why not a Queen? My reply is that being a queen makes me think of a prim and proper lady.  That does not quite capture my personality. Then usually the next question is, Okay, what about a Princess? Again folks, this just does not match my personality…Hmm…seems a bit too privileged for me. Hence, I choose to be a Duchess. I want to make the world a better place, one heart at a time. This statement takes me back to being a child remembering the Coca-Cola song, I would like to teach the world to sing (in perfect harmony).

Revelation 5:10 in the Amplified version of the Bible states “You have made them to be a kingdom of royal subjects…and they will reign on the earth.” Duchess Definition: A woman who holds in her own right the sovereignty or titles of the territory ruled by the King (my king is God). Royalty: people of royal blood or status. (I have both).
