I’ve navigated the challenges of caregiving, explored breathtaking destinations, connected with inspiring communities, and embraced new opportunities with enthusiasm and determination. As I look back on these accomplishments and experiences, I’m filled with gratitude and excitement for the future.

My 2022 Year in Review: A Year of Firsts and Accomplishments

Reflecting on 2022, it has been a year filled with incredible achievements and personal growth. From stepping into new ventures to achieving significant milestones, each accomplishment has added a unique and memorable chapter to my journey.

📍January: Stayed in my first luxury suite in South Lake Tahoe.

📍March 17: Created a travel blog, marking the beginning of my online adventure.

📍April: Launched my Facebook account and various social media platforms to connect with a broader audience.

📍May: Set up platform email accounts and attended my first personal growth conference with Eckhart Tolle, gaining invaluable insights.

📍June: Made my first TV show appearance as a guest, sharing my experiences and stories.

📍September 24: Achieved a major milestone by writing and publishing my first book, TravelTude.

📍October 7-9: Attended my first social media event, Flashpoint – Manifesting The Moment Of Your Big Breakthrough, in Philadelphia.

📍October 31: Debuted on a radio show from Page, Arizona.

📍November 5: Invited to speak at the Phenomenal Woman event in Dallas, TX, a truly inspiring experience.

📍December 7: Created my website, Gallivanting Like A Royal, from scratch, showcasing my travel stories and tips.

📍December: Learned to create QR codes and set up an Anchor account to start my podcasting journey.

📍December 31: Published my first podcast from my website blog on Kailua-Kona.

My 2022, 2023, 2024 , 2025 Year In Review by Duchess DJ Love: Author, Blogger, Caregiver, Frequent Traveler, Influencer, Digital Creator, Mentor, Photographer, and Podcaster

When the year 2023 was coming to an end, I had to give tribute to my 2022. I’d forgotten that I did this video end of that year (It is at the bottom of this post). 2022 was my first year ever on any social media. Wow, learning and growth in oneself can be very fulfilling and rewarding.

Here are my 2022 Highlights. It includes flying the friendly skies monthly and circling the world several times in flight miles. Spent the night in over 15 states visiting 16 US States while doing a cross country road trip. Racked up frequent flyer miles due to monthly travels and reached Platinum Pro with American Airlines.

2022 was my first year ever on any social media. On March 17, 2022, my first blog was published on Travelblog.org. I was on my first Digital TV Show in June 2022, published my first book, TravelTude a 30-Day Trip Tips Gratitude Devotional in Sep 2022, and worked behind the scenes producing the Power of Pure Presence last quarter of 2022, and my website, GallivantingLikeARoyal.com launched in December 2022. This is a tribute to my humble beginnings.

I’ll compile my 2023 Accomplishments later. However my family & I were very sick the first half of the year. The latter half went well. Praise and Gratitude. Let me reflect on the year as all this side hustle entrepreneurial spirit journey began which was by a divine download in 2022.

My 2023 Year in Rewind: A Journey of Triumphs and Adventures

As I look back on 2023, it has been a year filled with challenges, resilience, and unforgettable experiences. From personal hurdles to global explorations, each moment has added a unique chapter to my story.

📍January: Visited the serene Congaree National Park in South Carolina.

📍January-April: Faced a tough period as my family became seriously ill.

📍March: Had to place my mom in memory care in Fort Myers, Florida.

📍April: Health started to improve, allowing me to move mom to memory care in Fort Worth, Texas.

📍May: Rejoiced as my mom’s health improved, and she was well enough to come back home.

📍June: Life was looking up, and I booked a Greek Islands Cruise.

📍July: Flew business class to Athens, Greece, setting the stage for an amazing adventure.

📍August: Sailed on a 7-night Norwegian Jade Cruise to Kusadasi, Istanbul, Rhodes, Mykonos, and Santorini.

📍September: Recorded The Gallivanting Like A Royal Fall 2023 Show Lineup, ready to share more adventures.

📍October: Enjoyed a luxurious business class flight to London.

📍November: Embarked on an epic Fall Road Trip from Fort Worth, TX to Myrtle Beach, SC, exploring Vicksburg, MS; Chattanooga, TN; Helen, GA; and Chesterfield, SC along the way.

📍December: Traveled through 10 states and visited 6 countries, including Greece, Turkey, Mexico, Belize, Honduras, and the UK.

📍December 9-16: Mom and I enjoyed a memorable Sky Princess Western Caribbean voyage.

📍December: Ended the year with a heartwarming Christmas with family, all is well.

2023: Here’s the highlights from my 2023 year in rewind. Created a digital tv show & podcast, published 4 books on Amazon and 3 eBooks on my website, posted a blog a week, traveled to 6 countries. spent the night in 8 US states, sailed on a Mediterranean and Caribbean cruise, took a road trip from Texas to South Carolina, flew around the world several times in flight miles achieving Executive Platinum status with American Airlines, and spent quality time with family and friends while evolving into a content creator. I’m proud of my 2023 accomplishments. Thanks to you for supporting me!!

As I reflect on 2024, it’s been a year of remarkable travels, exciting experiences, and significant milestones. From exploring new destinations to achieving personal goals, each moment has added a memorable chapter to my story.

📍12 Countries Visited: Aruba, Colombia, Costa Rica, Belgium, France, Germany, Iceland, Honduras, Jamaica, United Kingdom, Panama, Spain

📍11 States Visited: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia

📍6 National Parks Visited: Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Grand Canyon North Rim, Zion

Memorable Highlights

📍January: Booked a 1st Class Madrid round trip airfare to reach Executive Platinum with American Airlines.

📍February: Flew to Madrid with a 7-hour layover in LHR, taking the Heathrow Express to Paddington to explore Central London. Spent 2 nights in Madrid and 1 night in Frankfurt touring the cities.

📍March: Drove from Fort Worth to San Antonio through the beautiful Hill Country, TX.

📍April: Cruised 11 nights aboard MSC Divina from Fort Lauderdale.

📍May: Launched my 2nd YouTube Channel, Duchess DJ Love.

📍August: Flew Business Class to London.

📍September: Took the Eurostar from London to Paris, spending 8 nights with a balcony view of the Eiffel Tower at the Pullman Tour Eiffel Hotel during the Paris 2024 Paralympics. Took the train to Brussels for a day trip. Upgraded to 1st Class from Paris to Reykjavík and Reykjavík to Boston via IcelandAir.

📍October: Embarked on a Fly/Drive Adventure from Grand Junction to Las Vegas, visiting 5 National Parks in Utah and 1 in Arizona. Received a balcony room upgrade at Paris Las Vegas in the Versailles Tower, overlooking the Strip, Bellagio, High Roller, and Sphere.

📍November: Retired early – the best decision of my life.

📍December: Slept a lot and flew at least once a month on American Airlines earning Platinum Pro.

2025 Year in Review Highlights

January 2025 – Adjusted to retirement and visited 4 SC State Parks: Myrtle Beach, Huntington Beach, Lee, and Goodale Parks

February 2025 – Traveled to Arizona, California, and Nevada. Visited Death Valley and Joshua Tree National Parks. Spent several nights in Palm Springs, the Ranch at Death Valley, Palms Casino in Vegas, and enjoyed the desert.

March 2025 – Visited Big Bend National, Road trip Ft Worth to El Paso via Big Bend

April 2025 – Visited White Sands, Guadalupe Mountains, Carlsbad Caverns National Parks

May 2025 – Spent the month in South Carolina

June 2025 – Road trip to SC via Hot Springs National Park. Highlights: Broken Bow OK, Hot Springs AR, Tunica MS, Buc’ees Leeds AL, Staging our Aynor home

July 2025 – 14-Day Norwegian Star Cruise from NYC to Canada, Greenland, and Iceland returning to Boston Harbor

August 2025 – Back in SC Touring Chesterfield County

September 2025 – Road Trip to Ft Worth & Back. Highlights: Meridian, Vicksburg, Shreveport and Horseshoe Bossier City

October 2025 – Packing up home to sell – Mom slips into Late Stage Dementia- We cancel our 13-Day Enchanted Princess cruise from NYC to Ft Lauderdale.

November 2025 – Haven’t left my mom’s side since she is bedridden.

December 2025 – Lady Lexie goes to Heaven and the Comet3i/Atlas streaks the Southern US on December 19th from a galaxy far, far away.
