Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Gallivantiers!
As the world celebrates luck and all things green, today holds a special meaning in my heart. On this day, three years ago, I took a leap of faith. This began what would become an extraordinary journey. I brought Duchess DJ Love and the Gallivanting Like a Royal platform to life. Today, I want to reflect on these past three years of growth. It has been a time filled with creativity and adventure. I embraced my dreams wholeheartedly.
It all started with a simple blog—just me, my laptop, and a heart full of passion for travel and storytelling. Little did I know, that first post would plant the seeds for something far greater.
From that initial blog, life snowballed in the most magical way:
- I stepped into the digital world with appearances on TV shows, sharing my love for wanderlust and adventure.
- I published TravelTude: A 30-Day Trip Tips Gratitude Devotional, blending gratitude with my travel wisdom.
- I created my very first social media accounts, diving into an exciting space to connect with fellow dreamers and explorers.
But the journey didn’t stop there. I built the Gallivanting Like a Royal brand even further:
- Launching my blog, GallivantingLikeARoyal.com, where wanderlust meets wealth wisdom.
- Creating YouTube channels, Gallivanting Like A Royal and Duchess DJ Love, sharing adventures, insights, and connections with audiences worldwide.
- Expanding my voice and impact with Duchess DJ Dementia Diaries. I explored the heart-touching realities of caregiving. I also delved into traveling with loved ones facing dementia.
And, as if that wasn’t enough, I published not one but FIVE more books:
- Navigating the World: Traveling with a Loved One with Dementia
- Money Mindset: Millionaire Mindset: Inspirational Quotes and Tips for Wealth Builders
- The Budget Traveler’s Blueprint

Through it all, this platform became more than just content—it became a community of dreamers, doers, and explorers. I’m endlessly grateful for every single person who has been part of this journey. This includes everyone from the first reader of my blog to the newest subscriber on YouTube.
These three years have taught me the value of persistence, gratitude, and always dreaming big. If there’s one message I’d share with anyone reading this, it’s this. Don’t let fear keep you from chasing your dreams. Take that first step. The path might surprise you!
