Hello Royals. Welcome to another episode of Gallivanting Like A Royal. On this podcast, I share my honest opinions and experiences on various trips around the world. In this episode, I’m going to review the Sky Princess Western Caribbean cruise that I took from December 9 to December 16, 2023. I’ll share what I Learned from My Sky Princess Western Caribbean Cruise (Review + Insights).
The Sky Princess is one of the newest and most luxurious ships in the Princess Cruises fleet, featuring a stunning design, spacious staterooms, and a variety of entertainment and dining options. I was lucky enough to book a Balcony Stateroom, offering a 180-degree panorama of the ocean and the ports.
Sky Princess is a Royal-class cruise ship currently operated by Princess Cruises, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & plc. She is the second ship in the cruise line’s history to sail under this name. She is the fourth Royal-class ship in the Princess fleet and commenced operations in October 2019. The itinerary of the cruise included four ports of call: Cozumel, Belize City, Roatan, and Costa Maya. Each port offered a different adventure and a chance to explore the rich culture and natural beauty of the Western Caribbean. Excursions include snorkeling in the coral reefs, visiting ancient Mayan ruins, riding horses in the rainforest, and swimming with stingrays. I also had some time to relax on the white-sand beaches and sample the local cuisine and drinks.
The cruise also offered plenty of onboard activities and entertainment, such as live shows, movies under the stars, trivia games, and casino nights. I especially liked the Princess MedallionClass technology, which made everything easier and more personalized. I could order food and drinks anywhere on the ship, access fast and reliable Wi-Fi, and unlock my stateroom door with a simple tap of my medallion.
Overall, I had a wonderful time on the Sky Princess Western Caribbean cruise, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun vacation.
