I chose this hotel because of the “Royal” in its name. It complements my platform, ‘Gallivanting Like A Royal’. I was unfamiliar with Palm Springs. I was unsure of where to stay. The Royal Sun beckoned me to come shine with the sun. I am glad I did.

A super comfy bed. Hardwood floors. A balcony with a view. A walk-in shower with a relaxing rainfall showerhead.
– Beyond these comforts, the Royal Sun exceeds expectations by being a dementia-friendly hotel. It provides a safe haven for those with disabilities of any kind.
– The restaurant’s food was superb. The beautiful pool with floats and a fire pit offered the perfect atmosphere. It was the ideal setting to enjoy a glass of wine while the kids splashed away.
I truly enjoyed the modern decor and color schemes. The spacious desk was incredibly handy. My stay wasn’t all play. The abundance of power sources was a big plus. With all my cameras, phones, watch, tablet, etc., I needed those outlets. To emphasize this point, I even brought my international power converter, which has four USB plugs and two outlets.
I felt right at home. Even my mom has dementia. She had no problems adjusting to her new space. This was true even after a long travel day with delays and disruptions. She was at ease even after the sundowning window.

3. Friendly Staff😊: Many reviews highlight the welcoming and accommodating staff, making guests feel at home.
4. Clean and Comfortable Rooms 🛏️: The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. They had comfortable beds and modern amenities. These included hardwood floors, Apple TV, and plenty of power and USB plugs. The spacious King Bed Suite comes with a more accessible restroom and decorative sitting area.
