• The Paris Métro is efficient and covers most areas.
• Buy a carnet (pack of 10 tickets) for convenience.
• Lines are color-coded, and stations are well-marked.
• Be mindful of pickpockets during rush hours.
• Mobility issues be aware there are many stations without lifts or escalators
• Older trains have two steps to climb for entry

RER (Regional Express Network):

• These trains connect the city with suburbs. RER C is close to the Eiffel Tower
• Useful for reaching attractions like Versailles.
• Check the map for RER lines.

Buses:

• Buses offer scenic routes.
• Use the same tickets as the Métro.
• Bus stops have route information.
• Hop on Hop Off buses tour the city’s main attractions: Big Bus Paris and The Toot Bus Paris

Vélib’ (Bike Sharing):

• Rent bikes for short trips.
• Electric bikes are popular.
• Stations are widespread.
• Designated bike lanes throughout the city

Walking:

• Paris is a walkable city.
• Explore neighborhoods on foot.
• Download a map or use an app

Taxis and Ride-Sharing:
